Ballyduff GAA club currently offer football and hurling coaching and games to players in the area from U5 to senior level. The Coiste Na Nog caters for 14 different teams from the age groups of U5 to U17 in both codes.
The aim of the Coiste na Nog is to nurture and grow the potential and talents of players throughout our parish in a friendly and welcoming environment in both hurling and football. We are incredibly lucky to be able to call on over 20 coaches to help with looking after all our players, some are even involved in 2 or three different age groups while others are still playing themselves. Any parent, player or member looking to get involved should contact anyone in the club and we will be more than happy to get you involved.
The recent construction of the ball wall & astro turf will help further with developing these players. It allows players to practise their skills on their own as well in supervised training setting. It also allows teams to train later and earlier in the year as the fear of unplayable pitches is eliminated. Again, the effort by all involved in the Coiste Na Nog aided the ball wall committee in the fundraising for the development.
